Chris Green Media has added publishing to its portfolio of services.
The Worcester-based consultancy has launched its own publishing imprint, CGM Books, and will also run book writing training courses to provide would-be authors with the information they need to decide whether to write their story – or get it written for them – including how to research and write a book and get it published and marketed.
An additional part of the service will be sports author talks by CGM managing partner Chris Green and the company’s media training partners Tom Watt, ghost writer of David Beckham’s autobiography My Side, biographer Lance Hardy and acclaimed photographer Stuart Roy Clarke on the joys and perils of writing sports books and how to handle different genres and styles.
Chris Green is writing the first two CGM books – Rebuilding the Belief, the sequel to his award-nominated work on football youth development Every Boy’s Dream, and Soul Business, CGM’s ethos for a better way of business life.
He has also co-authored Cyrille Regis – My Story and his other books are The Sack Race: The Story of Football’s Gaffers, Matchday: What Makes Saturday Special? and Football Confidential: Scams, Scandals and Screw Ups.
“This is a natural move for CGM as our team has extensive expertise in this area having written their own successful books,” said Chris.
“As well as writing books, we can design, publish and promote them too. If you have a story to tell, let us tell it for you.”
