Chris Green – managing partner
CGM managing partner and founder Chris Green is an award-winning author and broadcaster whose distinguished 20 year career in journalism included editing the English version of the official Beijing 2008 Olympic Games website and co-producing the British Radio Academy’s 2007 Speech Programme of the Year, BBC Radio 4’s The Reunion.
A BBC network radio reporter, presenter and producer mainly for BBC Radio 4, Radio 5 Live and the World Service, Chris is the author of five highly acclaimed sports books, including Every Boy’s Dream – England’s Football Future on the Line, which was nominated for the 2010 British Sports Book of the Year.
Chris co-authored Cyrille Regis – My Story (Carlton – 2010) and his other books are The Sack Race: The Story of Football’s Gaffers (Mainstream – 2002); Matchday: What Makes Saturday Special? (Highdown – 2005) and Football Confidential: Scams, Scandals and Screw Ups (BBC Worldwide 2003). Chris also wrote a media toolkit for the Football Association in 2013.
He has also worked for Sky Sports cricket coverage, was a website journalist at the 2006 Asian Games in Qatar and has written articles for several national broadsheet newspapers and magazines.
Chris has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Cultural Studies (University of Wolverhampton) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Communications (Goldsmiths’ College, University of London).
Responsible for all CGM business development, Chris is also a communication coach and consultant, oversees CGM’s media and communications training courses, and sport and business inspiration events.
