– Writing – How do I write and research my book?
– Cost – Costs and legal considerations
– Sales & Marketing – How can I sell and market my book?
FOLLOW UP COURSES
Is There a Book In It? leads onto the following two-hour 1-2-1 publishing consultancy sessions:
We work with you to distil your book idea into a workable synopsis to summarise your book and provide essential detail – what it is about, the themes it explores and why someone should read it.
This will serve as an aide-memoire and be the start of your sales journey – you will shape your synopsis to appeal to your target audience.
Ah, the tough bit – actually writing the book.
We’ll help you frame a chapter structure and create an acheivable writing schedule to research and write your book (or/and work with an author who will write it for you).
LET’S GET PUBLISHED
We’ll help you investigate your publishing options and crunch the numbers in detail so you can decide the model that will work best for you and meet your aspirations. Then we’ll walk you through the process of self pubishing or finding a publisher.
SALES AND MARKETING
Ah, the good bit – getting out there to sell your book and start to recoup your costs
All authors have to be sales people – and no one will promote your book better than you. Marketing messages and methods and sales tactics are all important – that’s why a plan is needed before you get started.
Now you have all the information you need to write and publish your book and which routes you may wish to take.
Each of the above courses are delivered as two-hour 1-2-1 consultancy sessions each costing £125+VAT – or all four together for £350+VAT
