Lance HardyLance has a sports television production portfolio to die for and is one of CGM’s media trainers and part of our inspirational sports events team.

A BBC TV Sport programme editor, producer and documentary maker for many years, Lance has worked at numerous major sporting events around the world, including five World Cups and three Olympic Games.

He has edited Match of the Day, Football Focus, Final Score, Late Kick Off and many other sports programmes for BBC Sport plus The Cricket Show for Sky Sport in New Zealand and various other programmes for other broadcasters.

Lance is the author of Stokoe, Sunderland and ’73, which was shortlisted for Best Football Book at the British Sports Book Awards and nominated for the British Society of Sports History Literary Prize.

9780752883403He is the editor of Tales from the Red and Whites, an anthology about Sunderland AFC, and has also co-authored best-selling autobiographies with Bobby George, Kelly Smith and Steve Davis. The latter has recently been nominated for Autobiography of the Year at this year’s British Sports Book Awards.

Lance’s BBC One documentary about England women’s World Cup captain Steph Houghton was entered for a Royal Television Society award.
