September 2017 – SHAPE YOUR 2018 COMMUNICATIONS PLAN
2018 starts here – by getting on message so you say the right things to the right people in the right way to win trust and gain confidence in your business. It all starts with you telling us why you do the things you do…
Skills: Planning, scheduling and prioritising.
Method: Create an on-message board, communications plan, content calendar and priority pecking order.
This is also our fourth anniversary meeting and it will feature success stories and ideas developed.
October 2017– CHARACTER MARKETING
Marketing the character of your business should be your number one goal so you build trust and win hearts and minds – and truly connect rather than merely communicate with your target markets.

November 2017 – A SPLASH OF INSPIRATION
Learn to present a vision and mission of your business to achieve buy in to your business or venture – focusing on why you do what you do and how you do it.

January 2018 – THE POWER OF STORYTELLING
Get telling rather than just selling by making belief a priority in the promotion of your business.
Skill: Creating a PR campaign to promote your business
Method: Devise your own PR story.
February 2018 – REACH OUT
Start spreading the news among your target online audience by creating quality content – and lots of it – to increase your credibility and boost your lead generation.
How: Social media marketing.
Method: Create your own ‘news editor’ content calendar.
March 2018 – TARGET AND FOCUS
Learn to tap into your audience wavelength(s) by listening, relating and then connecting with them.
How: Shaping customer relationship journeys.
Method: Newsletters and e-shots.
April 2018 – DEFINE and DESIGN
Learn to define your seemingly indefinable qualities and how to replicate them so you win more business.
How: Promote the work you’ve done with inspiring and visual case studies and testimonials.

May 2018 – GAIN CONFIDENCE
Learn to win trust and confidence by being an effective visual communicator.
How: Networking and speech making.

June 2018 – PROTECT YOURSELF
Arm yourself with a plan to protect your business in the face of a media crisis.
How: Media crisis planning.
Method: Being GDPR ready.
July 2018 – CO-ORDINATE
Put it all together to create a dynamic communications and marketing programme that will boost your reputation and win fresh business.
How: Revisit the plans and schedules introduced throughout the programme.
