Worcester law practice Hallmark Hulme has bolstered its family law department with the appointment of an experienced solicitor.
Helen Hanson joins a six-strong team at the Sansome Place based firm, which has been operating for 226 years.
The mother-of-two, who hails from the Black Country, first showed a flair for the specialism during a work placement with a Walsall practice after gaining a law degree at Coventry University.
Mrs Hanson completed her legal practice certificate at the former Birmingham College of Law and spent seven years with Talbots Solicitors before moving to Worcestershire to work for Thursfields.
“I like to feel that I am helping clients at a difficult time in their lives and always encourage them to try to resolve matters amicably rather than have to go through lengthy court battles,” she said.
“Resolving as much as possible outside the court arena is also more cost effective.”
Lesley Bartlett, head of family law at Hallmark Hulme, said: “We are delighted to welcome Helen, whose wide experience in all matters relating to divorce and separation will further strengthen our team.”
